Elena is in the mood for an ice cream. Marco would prefer a lemon granita. They don’t have far to go: the beach bar is right there, mere steps from their gazebo. Refreshing drinks, coffees, snacks, sandwiches, homemade ice cream, seasonal fruit. You can also order from your sun lounger, and we’ll bring it all to you. And for lunch? Pop over to our restaurant, AcaciAmare Pizzeria (not far from the bar).
It’s time for an aperitif.
Marco orders a Negroni, Elena a chilled Vermentino.

The sky turns pink, then orange, then scarlet red. You sit back, choose your drink, and let the background music soothe you at La Palmaiola Lounge Bar. Cocktails, platters of Tuscan cured meats, olives, and bruschetta accompany your moment of relaxation. There’s no hurry, nowhere else to be. Just you (and the horizon).

Dinner is over, but the most magical time is just beginning. Under a sky sprinkled with stars, Elena and Marco return to the lounge bar for a last drink. They sit on the comfortable round armchairs under one of the palm trees (the reason it’s called Palmaiola!). The lights are softer, the air cooler, but there’s still that wonderful sense of ease. A house bitter, a chilled limoncello, a glass of passito.
(It really is a perfect evening.)
